Blow your own (blog)horn!

Blogrovr users often write us asking why we haven’t chosen their favorite blogs for our bundled feeds. In fact, we even got a piece of polite feedback recently suggesting we were slanting our political bundle purposefully. We’re not!
The truth is that we chose the feeds to bundle from among popular ones which were on our radar some time ago, at a time when we were deep in product design . Though we were paying a lot of attention to technology sites, we were a bit too busy to spend the time we would have liked to delve deeply into a few of the categories in which we’re providing bundles. We’re about to remedy that.
We’re soon going to be rolling out interesting new technology for treating blog bundles, and we’ll be shuffling the mix of blogs at that time. In preparation, if you have a favorite blog, let us know about as a comment here or drop us an email, and we’ll consider it for bundling. We’re interested that feeds we include in the default improve the blogrovr experience for you, so the more they link out to places on the web, or the more a blog is linked to from other well-known blogs, the more likely we are to include it in the bundle. Being bundled by us is a great source of new readers for the blogs we’ve chosen. For a number of the blogs we’ve included in our feed bundles to date, according to feedburner’s stats for these blogs, blogrovr provides a majority of the feed based readers.
Stay tuned for more news on our blog bundles, and keep writing us with recommendations.
